We woke up to more snow this morning. After taking care of the dogs I dove into my email. A few emails asked for book recommendations. Very few true dog men have put pen to paper. We are fortunate in the Pudelpointer world that Bob Farris is one of them.

I ordered Bob’s book about a year ago to guide me (non-hunter) and my husband (hunter) through those early months of raising a pudelpointer. It’s a great book to read from front to back, but also to keep as a resource when you need it during training. It covers a variety of topics; from breeding practices, to puppy training, to NA and UT test preparedness, to aging hunters and even to honoring the memory of your dogs that have passed. Nice touches throughout.
